Our approach
The institute combines multidisciplinary research, scenario planning, and evidence-based foresight to deliver actionable insights, engaging with diverse experts, stakeholders, and communities through publications, events, and capacity-building initiatives.
Foresight
Preparing for what’s next
Nepal and the world are exposed to forces they do not control — a changing climate, shifting geopolitics, and fast-moving technology. Foresight is the discipline of taking those futures seriously: scenario planning, trend forecasting, and risk assessment that turn uncertainty into something a decision-maker can act on. It is the work most institutions skip. We make it central.

Non-profit
I4F is a non-profit institute. We exist to produce public-interest research, not to turn a profit or advance a commercial agenda.

Our findings follow the evidence — not the preferences of any funder, party, or government. No one buys a conclusion.
